Frame sizing

THE BREAKDOWN

Example frame size: Centrist (55-17-140)*
In the above frame size, the 55 corresponds to “A” (Lens size), the 17 represents “B” (Bridge SIze), and 140 is the length of “C” (Temple size). *”B” Size not specified. NOTE: Not all frame sizes are representative of how a frame will fit. It is always best practice to try a frame on when possible. For instance, the Nike Brazen is a “large frame” based on its frame size, yet it fits a majority of men and women’s faces.

EYE SIZE

Horizontally measured from outermost edges of the lens. Approx 40-62mm.

BRIDGE SIZE

Measurement of the distance between two lenses usually measured at the nose bridge.

TEMPLE SIZE

Measurement of the temple arms that extend from the front of the frame over your ears. The length of your frame’s temples is important to ensure stability and comfort.

“B” MEASUREMENT

Measurement of the height of the lenses. *For Bifocal and Progressive lenses, a B measurement of at least 25mm is recommended
